It serves clients predominantly in the United...more States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United Arab Emirates. Its reportable segments are Marketing & Events U.S. segment; Marketing & Events International segment; and Travel & Recreation Group segment. The Marketing & Events U.S. segment comprise of the domestic operations of Global Experience Specialists, Inc. and affiliates. This segment generates revenues from the Show Organizer Services, Exclusive Services Provided to Exhibitors, Discretionary Services Provided to Exhibitors and Other Marketing Services. The Marketing & Events International segment inc...moreludes all foreign operations of the Marketing & Events Group and consists of two operating segments: Canada and EMEA. The International segment offers services that are similar to those provided by the U.S. segment. These services are delivered by its wholly-owned subsidiaries. During 2013, the International segment provided services to over 1,100 exhibitions and events and more than 38,000 exhibitors. The International segment has full-service operations in many of the active and popular exhibition and event destinations, including nine Canadian cities, six United Kingdom cities, one German city and two cities in the United Arab Emirates and one city in Netherlands. Travel & Recreation Group segment services are provided by Brewster Inc., Glacier Park, Inc. and Alaskan Park Properties, Inc. The Company's U.S. segment competes in the exhibition and events industry on the basis of discernible differences, value, quality, price, convenience and service. Whereas the International segment competes on the basis of discernible differences, value, quality, price, convenience and service.
