Most of its customers have multiple capacitance requirements, often within each of their products. The Company operates 23 production facilities in Europe, North America and Asia. Its customer base includes electronics original equipment manufacturers, electronics manufacturing services providers and distributors. The Company’s competitors include AVX Corporation, Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, Ltd. (Panasonic), Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd., Samsung, Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd., TDK-EPC Corporation, WIMA GmbH & Co., KG and Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. The principal raw materials used in the manufacture of its products are tantalum powder, palladium, aluminum and silver.
