The Company serves their customers through four brands, Thermo Scientific, Life Technologies, Fisher Scientific and Unity Lab Services. The Company markets and sells its products and services through a direct sales force, customer-service professionals, electronic commerce, third-party distributors and various catalogs. It encounters aggressive and able competition in virtually all of the markets it serves.
