Why E-Commerce Is a Difficult Space to Be In, According to Jim Cramer

Curious about the e-commerce space? Jim Cramer weighed in on FedEx and Adobe in his Real Money column Wednesday morning. "Is there anything about e-commerce that's easy? Last night we had not one, but two calls that were discouraging about the difficulty of making everything work in e-commerce, at least in terms of predicting business, and it's beginning to dawn on me that competition and execution are being called into question by all who critique the fray," wrote Cramer. And, when asked about e-commerce, Cramer discussed why companies were getting hit hard. "Because [e-commerce] moving so fast. It's very unpredictable. You never can catch up to it. There's always new competitors. You know...Let's say, I mean I could have expanded that column bigger. I try to keep it to 800 words," said Cramer. "But let's say if you're in delivery, you've got Grubhub, you have Uber, you have Postmates and you have Door Dash. Okay. They're all competing. When you go to cybersecurity, you've got Palo Alto, you have Crowdstrike making a deal with Zscaler, you've got Symantec...So you have all these competitors there. You have competitors across the board."
