Jennifer Lawrence is clarifying remarks she made last week about the devastating hurricanes of late.

Lawrence, 27, who’s out promoting her new film “mother!’ said that her comments about the storms were taken “grossly out of context,” according to a Facebook post from the star.

She continued, alleging that she never suggested a correlation between the Trump presidency and the horrific storms.

“Obviously I never claimed that President Trump was responsible for these tragic hurricanes,” the star wrote in her post. “That is a silly and preposterous headline that is unfortunate, because it detracts from the millons of lives that are being impacted by these devastating storms and the recent earthquake.”

She continued, “What is really important is focusing on the ways we can help. My heart is with everyone affected and the brave first responders who are working to keep us all safe.”

The “Hunger Games” star then urged her fans to donate to United Way of Houston, Save the Children and Americares.

The Lawrence hurricane buzz began last week, after headlines emerged suggesting the Oscar winner found that the storms are Mother Nature’s punishment for the November election of Donald Trump.

She spoke with Britain’s Network Channel 4, saying, “You know, it’s this new language that’s forming. I don’t even recognize it. It’s also scary to know that climate change is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting.”

She admitted the Trump administration is “really startling,” according to TheWrap.

“You know, you’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s really hard...not to feel Mother Nature’s rage and wrath,” she said. “...I’ve heard things and seen things on TV in my own country that devastate me and make me sick, and it’s just really confusing.”

While the political atmosphere in the U.S. grows more complex and partisan, Lawrence said she can still see right through Trump.

“I think I know exactly what he is,” she said, according to TheWrap.
