Best Picture: ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ (A24)
The Daniels’ fantastical martial arts movie is the highest-grossing film of A24’s 20-year history. It could be an across-the-board contender, including an overdue Michelle Yeoh in best actress, and possible supporting mentions for Ke Yun Quan, Stephanie Hsu and Jamie Lee Curtis. With an expanded best picture lineup of 10 nominees, this would be an ambitious, cool choice for Academy voters to embrace, introducing the incredible directing duo to mainstream audiences.
