M&M Axes ‘Spokecandies’ After Backlash
M&M is bidding farewell to its "spokecandies." For now, comedian and "SNL" alum Maya Rudolph will replace the company's mascots in this year’s Super Bowl ad. The move comes after Fox News' Tucker Carlson spent months attacking the brand for making changes to some of the characters. Last year, the company ditched the green M&M's boots for comfy sneakers and exchanged the brown M&M’s sky-high stilettos for practical pumps.
