![<p>This year, rock 'n' roll lost a few of its brightest lights. The passing of <a href="http://celebrities.prettyfamous.com/l/551616/Prince">Prince</a> and <a href="http://celebrities.prettyfamous.com/l/1641514/David-Bowie">David Bowie</a> and, more recently, <a href="http://celebrities.prettyfamous.com/l/1141090/Leonard-Cohen">Leonard Cohen</a>, led to many tears and heartfelt expressions of each musician's profound effect on rock, R&B and funk music. </p><p>One thing that these musicians all had in common was that they were all inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The 2016 inductees included Deep Purple, Steve Miller and N.W.A. <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/19/arts/music/pearl-jam-and-tupac-shakur-lead-nominees-for-rock-hall-of-fame.html?_r=0">Nominees that lead the pack of contenders</a> for next year are Tupac Shakur and Pearl Jam. </p><p>To honor these artists and their contemporaries, <a href="http://prettyfamous.com">PrettyFamous</a>, an entertainment data site by <a href="https://graphiq.com">Graphiq</a>, identified the most famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. </p><p>To determine the most popular rock 'n' roll legends, PrettyFamous ranked each musician and band based on their Musician or Band Score, respectively. This is a weighted average of a musician or band's Wikipedia page views over the last 30 days, the 30-day Wikipedia page views of the bands they were/are in (in the case of a singular musician), the Wikipedia page views of their releases and the number of followers they have on Spotify.
