Nick and Aaron Carter intend to keep their father and sister’s memories alive.

The singers, whose father Bob died on Tuesday at 65 of what they believe was a heart attack, plan to spread their father ashes in the Gulf of Mexico by the Florida Keys as per his request, but also intend on spreading their late sister’s ashes there as well, TMZ reports.

The Carter family plans to reunite Bob with his daughter Leslie, who died unexpectedly of an overdose in 2012. Leslie’s ashes are with her husband who agreed to have them spread out with her father’s, according to the gossip site.

“My heart is broken, we are so hurt we lost you poppa way too soon,” Aaron wrote on Wednesday. “You were never human to me, you were always my real life super hero.”

Nick echoed his sentiment, also writing, “I am heartbroken.”

Bob Carter was featured on the family’s reality show “House of Carters,” which featured the Backstreet Boys’ singer, Aaron and their three other siblings, Leslie, Angel and Bobbie.
