Miley Cyrus to Induct Joan Jett & the Blackhearts Into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Miley Cyrus is headed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -- to induct Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, that is.

The Hall of Fame made the announcement Wednesday for its 30th annual Induction Ceremony, which takes place on Saturday, April 18 at Cleveland's Public Hall.

In addition to the "Wrecking Ball" singer playing her part, Zac Brown and Tom Morello will perform for the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, John Mayer and Gary Clark, Jr. will perform for Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble. Beck and Karen O. will play to honor Lou Reed, and John Legend is set to perform for Bill Withers.

Previously announced presenters include: Paul McCartney inducting Ringo Starr, Stevie Wonder inducting Withers, Patti Smith inducting Reed, Peter Wolf inducting the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Fall Out Boy inducting Green Day, Mayer inducting Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble and Steve Cropper inducting the "5" Royales.

Also reported earlier, Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh and Jimmie Vaughan will perform. The special will premiere on HBO on Saturday, May 30.

The nominees missing the induction cut this year were Chic, Kraftwerk, The Marvelettes, N.W.A., Nine Inch Nails, The Smiths, The Spinners and Sting. Artists become eligible for the Hall of Fame 25 years after releasing their first recording.
