Twenty-four hours later, the body of Ashley Easton was found in a ditch near the same location. Her death is also mysterious.

Family and friends gathered Sunday night at Lake Hefner for a memorial. Around 50 people showed up for the candlelight vigil to remember Easton. Her mother, children and friends gathered to remember her life.

Easton was found shot in the head and neck last Tuesday. She was only 30 years old, lived in Yukon and has three children. Another man was found dead near Easton, Bashar Burks. According to the family, he was her boyfriend. His body was found in a burning vehicle the day before.

The family said they had been together for about five months.

A vigil started at 7:30 p.m. Sunday with a quick prayer. Later, fireworks were set off.
