Sacramento's Midtown Farmers Market to debut 10th season with more vendors than ever
With more than 200 vendors set to participate this weekend, the Midtown Farmers Market is expected to be bigger than ever before. "We're so excited to come into this new market season," said Krystine Towner with the Midtown Association. "When we first launched our market 10 years ago, we were just a few stalls in one little parking lot." The year-round Saturday event has since grown to span five blocks in the Lavender Heights area. It extends on 20th Street from J Street to Capitol Avenue and on K Street from 19th Street to 21st Street.
