San Francisco Police's Killer Robot Proposal Sparks Jokes, Memes
San Francisco police has proposed it be allowed to use robots with “deadly force” while responding to incidents according to a policy draft. The SFPD proposal would allow robots to kill people “when risk of loss of life is imminent and outweighs any other option”. The department proposes to use 17 robots it already owns. Currently, they are being used for area inspection and bomb disposal.
