Suspect wanted in armed kidnapping of 2 victims in DC

WASHINGTON -- Two victims were kidnaped and robbed by an armed suspect in Northeast D.C on Thursday, Metropolitan police said.

The incident happened around 3:25 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Virginia Avenue when the suspect entered a residence. Police said the suspect pulled out a knife and demanded cash.

The victims then got into a car with the suspect and were taken to another location where took out cash. Police said the suspect took the cash and fled.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video and can be seen in the video below.

Anyone who can identify this individual or who has knowledge of these offenses should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
