White House Claims NRA Leaders Are ‘Contributing’ To U.S. Gun Violence
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Thursday that the National Rifle Association (NRA) is "contributing to the problem of gun violence" after a reporter asked the White House's thoughts on them holding a convention three days after a shooting in Uvalde, Texas. "They represent the interests of the gun industry, the gun manufacturers who are marketing weapons of war to young adults" Jean-Pierre added.
