PLAISTOW, NH - When Andrew Strzykalski works out in the gym with his high school wrestling team, he gets one-on-one attention from his coach, Nathan Lawrence.

Three years ago, Lawrence got a call from his old high school wrestling coach. Strzykalski had just joined the wrestling team and could benefit from having a designated coach.

© Provided by USA Today Lawrence quit his job to become a para-educator at his old high school. He began working exclusively with Strzykalski.

Strzykalski has Down syndrome, but has always focused on all he's able to accomplish. He recently hit a new personal best record for the amount of weight he can deadlift.

"We don't set limits on Andrew because he's very capable of doing things that people may not think he can do," Lawrence said.

Now the two are more than athlete and coach; they've become good friends.
