Down by three points with time running off the clock, Baylor needed something special to happen against Texas Tech. Denzel Mims delivered.

Laying out for this ball while somehow keeping his feet in bounds, Mims pulled off an effort worthy of catch of the year consideration.

It was just his second catch of the afternoon, but this one was spectacular, and it gave the Bears a chance to keep driving downfield for the potential game-winning or game-tying score.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to capitalize a second time with a drop on what would have been a game-winning touchdown

Thankfully, his kicker converted, and the Bears tied the game up to force overtime.

Baylor fans will remember this isn’t the first time Mims has done something spectacular like this.
