The future Hall of Famer has always told it like it is, and that hasn't changed ahead of a pivotal Week 6 matchup between his Patriots and the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs.

Set to take on a quarterback that’s provided 16 total touchdowns in five games, Belichick fully understands the threat this second-year signal caller brings to the table.

Here’s what the head coach had to say about Mr. Mahomes and his arm strength.

He's not wrong.

While Mahomes has yet to really show it during live-game action, he can toss the rock 80-plus yards on the fly. Even after just six career regular season starts, the MVP candidate has proven himself to have the strongest arm in the game.

At 3-2 on the season, New England finds itself two games behind Kansas City in terms of playoff seeding in the AFC.

A loss here would pretty much eliminate any opportunity for the Patriots to earn the No. 1 seed in the conference. That’s an amazing realization to come to before the midway point of the season has even hit.

It’s now up to the team to cover all 100 yards of the field against a juggernaut offense. Belichick fully understands that.
