Carlos Hyde is coming back to Ohio. According to numerous reports, including from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the former Ohio State standout running back will sign a free agent contract with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday.

Hyde spent the first four years of his NFL career in San Francisco, rushing for 2,729 yards and 21 touchdowns. He was a second-round draft pick back in 2014 after a storied career with the Buckeyes.

He will replace Isaiah Crowell, who will sign with the New York Jets.
