Crews conduct controlled release of toxic chemicals following Ohio train derailment
Crews in Ohio said they’ve conducted a controlled release of toxic chemicals from five derailed tanker cars to prevent an explosion. The release created a large plume of chemicals above the village of East Palestine, and officials have ordered anyone within 2 miles of the derailment site to evacuate.
