A brush fire burning in Lassen County and along the Nevada state border has destroyed multiple structures and is threatening several more, officials said.

The Long Valley Fire has charred an estimated 1,500 acres and has no containment lines set up, according to the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District. North Red Rock Road is closed between from Highway 395 to Frontier Road while crews battle the blaze.

Evacuation orders are in place for the Rancho Haven Community, said the Bureau of Land Management in Nevada.

The fire district said one structure and multiple outbuildings were burnt down.
