In his first game back from off-season knee surgery, Lonzo Ball showed no signs of lasting effects of his knee injury as he and LeBron James connected for an alley-oop on the first play of the second quarter.

The dunk was Ball's first points of the game as the guard struggled early from the field, including firing an airball for three. While shaking off the ring rust, Ball still made plays defensively as he was matched up with Steph Curry.

The play is also reminiscent of the one Ball and Brandon Ingram connected on in the duo's first game in the Las Vegas Summer League in 2017.

With Ball and James not only sharing the floor together plenty this season and in the future, this likely won't be the last time these two hook up for an alley-oop or a highlight play.
