GOP Rep Grills TikTok CEO Over China Content Removal: 'I Take That As A No'
The House Commerce Committee Chair grilled TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew over its "moderation tools to remove content" about the Uyghur genocide, Tiananmen Square massacre and Taiwan. "We do not promote or remove content at the request of the Chinese government," Chew told Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers. "If you can't say you're 100% certain, I take that as a no," Rodgers said.
