McCarthy Breaks With MTG On Ashli Babbitt: The 'Police Officer Did His Job'
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy broke with the opinion of GOP colleague Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on the death of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed by police while trying to enter the Speaker's lobby on January 6th. "I think the police officer did his job," McCarthy said just days after Greene contended that Babbitt was "murdered" and "no one cared about the person who shot and killed her."
