McConnell Flubs Trying To Correct Comments Comparing ‘African Americans’ To ‘Americans’

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had to correct his correction after making controversial remarks Wednesday, saying "African-American" voters cast ballots at similar rates to all "Americans." McConnell said he "inadvertently" left out the world "almost," in his original remarks, but had to return to the podium to correct himself again. "The omitted word is 'all' not 'almost,'" McConnell said Friday.
