Samuel Sandoval, Code Talker from WWII, dies at 98

As a member of the Navajo Code Talkers, Samuel Sandoval created code words that would go on to thwart Japanese military operations in the Pacific during World War II. His work in the Marine Corps is largely credited with helping turn the tide of the war. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
