Senate passes bill to protect same-sex and interracial marriage
The Senate on Tuesday night approved historic legislation that provides federal protections for same-sex marriages and interracial marriages nationwide. The bill, called the Respect for Marriage Act, passed with 12 Republican senators and is expected to be signed by President Biden in the coming weeks. Nikole Killion reports from Capitol Hill.
