Hundreds of students will gather outside of the U.S. Capitol on Monday to push for gun control.

Sunday marked the one-year anniversary of the March For Our Lives rally in Washington, D.C.

The event was organized by survivors of the Parkland, Fla. School shooting at Majory Stoneman Douglas High School. The event brought thousands of people to the National Mall.

Later in the day on Monday, some of those same students will deliver about 5,000 letters to Senators, urging them to pass two gun control bills.

The House of Representatives have already passed those bills.
