The implications of a multinational force in Haiti
The New York Times reports that some U.S. officials are pushing for a multinational force to be sent to Haiti. Retired U.S. Admiral James Stavridis was involved in a U.N. peacekeeping mission to Haiti and tells José Díaz-Balart that the current situation on the ground in Haiti is “a prime example of the simple fact that leadership matters.”
