White House: Detroit mayor's comments on turning down J&J vaccine were a 'misunderstanding'
Andy Slavitt, the White House senior adviser for Covid-19 response, told reporters that Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan's comments about turning down his city's allotment of the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine were a "misunderstanding" and that they would have it available.
