J-deite RIDE will be a 11-foot-tall walking robot that can change into a two-seat, 40-mph vehicle in about 10 seconds. Brace Robotics and Asratec Corp, the companies responsible for creating the 1,500-pound beast, expect to have it completed by 2017. In the meantime they've successfully built J-deite Quarter, which is a quarter-size prototype of their final masterpiece: 16.4-foot-tall J-deite, the ultimate V-Sido powered robot, due by 2020.
