Yolo County Public Health on COVID-19 vaccines: 'We just don’t have the supply'
On his first full day in office, President Biden signed several executive actions and rolled out a comprehensive strategy aimed at getting the COVID-19 pandemic under control. The new, 200-page plan includes efforts to increase testing and ramp-up PPE and vaccine production, through the Defense Production Act. The move could not come sooner for California, where a number of counties are reporting high levels of demand for the vaccine and a shortage in supply.
