“… in this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes,” wrote Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the U.S., in a letter to French scientist Jean-Baptiste Le Roy. Believed to be the most quoted man of his generation, this is Franklin’s last great quote before he died five months later.
