Anthony Blinken: Russia Will Be Met With 'Swift, Severe' Response If They Invade Ukraine
"We stand firmly with Ukraine." Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned that Russia will be met with "massive consequences" if it continues its path of aggression toward neighboring country Ukraine. "It can choose the path of diplomacy that can lead to peace and security," Blinken said Friday after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. "Or the path that will lead only to conflict, severe consequences and international condemnation."
