Warm wishes poured in for former first lady Barbara Bush Sunday as word spread of her failing health.

Bush spokesman Jim McGrath announced via Twitter Sunday that Bush, 92, had declined further medical treatment and instead would focus on "comfort care."

Barbara and George H.W. Bush have been married since 1945 and had six children, including former president George W. Bush as well as former Florida governor and presidential candidate Jeb Bush. McGrath tweeted that the large family had gathered to be near Mrs. Bush.

From politicos to newsmakers, people offered prayers and good thoughts.

President Trump didn't tweet about the ailing first lady, but Vice President Pence and his wife, Karen, sent their prayers to the Bush family.
