Biden Signs Bill Blocking Railroad Strike Despite Lack Of Paid Sick Leave
President Joe Biden signed a bill that would make a rail worker strike illegal in an attempt to avoid major disruptions in the supply chain and a rail shutdown ahead of the holidays. Although it was a campaign promise made by Biden, the bill does not give rail workers paid sick leave, an omission Biden noted saying, “that fight isn’t over.”
