Capitol on high alert leading up to Joe Biden’s inauguration
Washington, D.C., is on high alert with thousands of National Guardsmen patrolling Capitol grounds. The heightened security ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration comes as a response to fears of further attacks like the one on Jan. 6. The FBI warns of plans for armed protests in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. NBC’s Ellison Barber reports for Weekend TODAY.
