A thrill-seeker plummeted to his death after he and a buddy tried to scale the façade of the iconic Four Seasons Hotel in Midtown late Wednesday, police said.

According to a preliminary investigation, the two were not guests of the hotel but managed to get access to “some sort of scaffolding” on the outside of the E. 57th Street building around 11:15 p.m., according to an NYPD spokesman. The Four Seasons has 52 stories, and rises nearly 700 feet.

As they climbed in the pouring rain, one of the pair either jumped or fell, plunging nine stories until he landed on one of the lower rooftops of the luxury hotel, cops said.
