Dozens promoted within the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office
Dozens of Sacramento County Sheriff’s employees were promoted Thursday. “It’s a big testament to the leadership in our department being able to fill those vacancies with really capable and outstanding people,” said Sgt. Amat Gandhi, a spokesperson for the department. Twenty-eight people were promoted, ranking from professional staff, sergeants and captains — to several chiefs.
