Dr. Ala Stanford opens a COVID-19 vaccination clinic to reach underserved communities
Distribution of the COVID vaccines are way behind, so Dr. Ala Stanford of the Black Doctors Covid-19 Consortium is using her successful mobile testing model and opening vaccination clinics in Philadelphia to reach underserved communities. She tells Ali Velshi, “over 5,000 people have signed up, primarily African Americans…you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Send the National Guard to help us...Support what is working".
