Hurricane-Force Winds And Powerful Waves Batter San Francisco's Bay Area

A strong Pacific storm, relatively late in the season, brought damaging winds and yet more precipitation to San Francisco’s Bay Area after weeks of devastating storms. The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for the region, warning of minor flooding. Multiple cars were crushed by falling trees as strong winds lashed the city.
