January 2023 will be remembered as wet, windy for Sacramento. Here's a look at the big rain totals
At the start of 2023, rain and snow totals throughout Northern California were well below average for the season. Just 31 days later, things are quite different. Downtown Sacramento received a total of 7.54 inches of rain during the month of January. That is nearly double the 30-year average for the month, which is 3.86 inches. Meteorologist Heather Waldman reports.
