Memphis police disbands Scorpion unit after Tyre Nichols’ death
Less than 24 hours after video of the brutal beating of Tyre Nichols was made public, the Memphis police department has “permanently disbanded” the Scorpion unit that the five ex-officers, now charged with murder, belonged to.
