Uvalde school police chief Pete Arredondo resigns from city council
Pete Arredondo, the embattled school district police chief in Uvalde, Texas, has resigned from the city council. Arredondo was sworn in to that position just days after the massacre at Robb Elementary School, where he is accused of failing to mount a rapid police response.
