VP Joe Biden delivers heartfelt speech on stuttering at AIS Gala

June 6, 2016 - Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, made a surprise visit to the 10th annual gala for the American Institute for Stuttering. He spoke from the heart about his personal experiences with the speech disorder and encouraged people to never laugh at someone for stuttering. Bruce Willis and Aaron Graff were the honorees for the evening, and Clarence Page was master of ceremonies. Very special thanks to the tremendous support from Amgen, Citadel, Joan Ganz Cooney and Peter Peterson, FedEx, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and all of our other sponsors! The American Institute for Stuttering (AIS) provides specialized, universally-affordable stuttering therapy and support for children and adults who stutter.
