White Helmets volunteers ‘digging and digging for hours’ in search for earthquake survivors
Hope of finding survivors after a deadly series of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria is beginning to fade, but volunteers with the Syrian Civil Defense, known as the White Helmets, are continuing their tireless search for people who could be trapped under the rubble. White Helmets volunteer Ismael Alabdullah joins News NOW to share how rescue efforts in northern Syria are going and how the global community can support the Syrian Civil Defense.
