Woman, 70, killed in crash in Maryland

Prince George’s County police said Winifred Y. Wilson, 70, of Bowie, suffered fatal injuries in a crash Wednesday along Annapolis and Hillmeade roads in Bowie.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. as Wilson was headed west on Annapolis Road and turning onto Hillmeade Road, officials said.
Her car hit another vehicle that was traveling east on Annapolis Road. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The other driver suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, police said.
