Yasmin Vossoughian: Food Insecurity in America, “Americans need relief and relief now.”
In her weekly segment, #therun, MSNBC’s Yasmin Vossoughian addresses food insecurity in America. According to Feeding America, by the end of this year 50 million Americans are likely to face food insecurity. Currently, 1 in 5 adults and 1 in 4 children are food insecure in the United States. Vossoughian says, “We are the wealthiest country in the world but still, people are hungry or going hungry, so what do we do about it?”
