Timelapse Footage Captures 'Super Blood Wolf Moon'

An unusual lunar eclipse, known as a “super blood wolf moon,” was visible across the US and elsewhere overnight from January 20 to 21. The event was mostly visible from North and South America, though stargazers in Europe and western Africa could also see the event, which occurs when the Earth passes between the sun and the moon, space.com reported. This footage was shared by Daniel Purcell, who said that he filmed it late on January 20 from Birmingham, Alabama. Credit: Daniel Purcell via Storyful
