DeSantis Tells Floridians To Brace For 'Nasty' Storm As Hurricane Ian Nears
Hurricane Ian is just shy of becoming a Category 5 storm. Winds are rapidly intensifying off Florida's southwest coast, reaching a top speed of 155 mph. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said it will be a "nasty" 2 days and that residents should find shelter. The Governor said that more than 1.75 million people are under mandatory evacuation orders, and 2.5 million residents are being advised to flee.
